Encourage Physical Activity to Move More for a Lifetime

Kids need 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Let them to play outside now to establish physical activity routines for colder weather. Active kids are more likely to be active adults, but activity levels drop after graduation, especially for young women. Team sports are fun, but you may want to encourage individual sports, like track or cross country and swimming, so they can continue on their own after graduating.
