Wash hands with soap and water.

Heat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

Place 1 tablespoon brown sugar, flour, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and apple juice in a medium bowl and mix well. Add apple slices and mix until apples are coated. Pour into baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine oats, remaining 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, and remaining ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon. Cut butter into the oat mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle oat mixture over apple mixture.

Bake 30-45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.

Apple crisp may be rewarmed by microwaving individual servings for 30-45 seconds or reheating the entire dish (uncovered) in a 375-degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
