- fluid ounces olive oil
- onion(s), diced
- garlic clove(s), minced
- net weight ounces green beans, rinsed, snapped, and stringed
- fluid ounces water
- tomato(es), diced
- bell pepper(s), sliced
- bunch(es) parsley, finely chopped
- fluid ounces ground black pepper
In a pot, heat oil over medium heat.
Add onions to the pot and sauté until softened. Add garlic and continue to sauté until mixture is soft and lightly browned.
Add remaining ingredients. Stir well and cover the pot. Simmer for 50 minutes or until beans are tender. Add more water if needed during cooking.
